Due to be available at the end of November, the 2.10 release includes a variety of Requests for Enhancement (RFEs), and new functionality.
The new functionality includes:
- Improved support for JAWS screen reader software to improve the accessibility of core ciboodle.
- CTI improvements to reduce the time required to produce additional Channel Providers for other platforms.
- Additional language packs for Italian, Spanish and Dutch.
And the scheduled RFEs:
- Enhanced SOAP Support (AXIS)
- Dynamic Forms for the Windows Client
- Tabbed Images
- Hot Updates of Release Jars
- Remote Plug-in structure enhancements
- Sorting Paged Lists

For the first time ever in an analyst evaluation, Sword ciboodle is top of all the vendors assessed. In fact, not only are we positioned as ‘leaders’, but we are the only vendor worthy of inclusion in this leader segment and the only vendor to maintain our status from last years evaluation. This is the second time Sword ciboodle has featured on Forrester’s Customer Service Software Tech wave. And what’s more, this time round, we are positioned way ahead of Pegasystems, who have this year dropped their leader status and in front of Chordiant, who are cited in the report for the first time. ciboodle 2.9 is now available to download. Included in this release are: - Major performance improvements running core ciboodle on the web.
- Improved handling of incoming emails within core ciboodle.
- Telephony enhancements in core ciboodle.
- Improved CTI Integration for Avaya.
- cDK Refactoring enhancements including improved Find References and enhanced Move and Rename support.
- Multiple improvements for the web client.
